Our Client is a leading Thai power development company, engaging in the electricity generating business. Location:                    HEAD OFFICE, BANGKOK

Salary Range:            45K – 60K

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform site selection and major equipment selection (transformer, switchgear, motor and control center, emergency generator, UPS, instrument, cable, communication equipment, etc.)
• Accomplish conceptual plant layout with system one line diagram and preliminary calculations
• Participate in the review of EPC contract specification and negotiation
• Write and review technical specifications for power plant equipment and systems
• Undertake and review calculations for equipment and systems
• Design and review drawings (P&IDs, general arrangements, etc.)
• Perform equipment sizing and selection including bid evaluation
• Design and review drawings (auxiliary one line and logic diagrams, schematics, general arrangements, grounding, lighting, cables and raceways, etc.)
• Conduct and review specification to comply with EIA and environmental law/regulation

Qualifications:

• Bachelor degree or higher in Electrical Engineering
• Minimum 5 years’ experience inside the leading engineering consulting company or large engineering department and/or large maintenance department in power plant, petroleum or petrochemical field
• Able to review electrical design, evaluate and select electrical system and equipment in power plant
• Familiar with ASME, ASTM, NFPA, AWS, AWWA Standards
• Support project development and execution
• Goal achievement, Responsibility, Excellence, Adaptability to change, Teamwork and Well-organized
• Fluent in English language
