Cost Accountant

Our Client is a leadership role in the global air cargo equipment market by providing its customers with the highest quality. The product range includes air cargo containers, pallets. They are looking for an experienced candidate to take position as below:

Position:                     Cost Accountant
Location:                     Factory in Bangplee Industrial Estate
Job Type:                    Permanent
Salary range:              35,000 THB (Up to experience)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Performing periodic records and evaluation of inventory controls, transactions and movements.
• Preparing inventory reconciliation and aging on a regular basis.
• Analyzing inventory purchasing price variance, manufacturing variance, costing and profit by each key identified driver and inventory adjustments.
• Setting up standard costs on an annual basis.
• Coordinating periodic physical inventory checking and cycle count/ perform inventory control.
• Monitoring master data and operational flows in application system for those related to inventory and costing cycles.
• Ensuring that inventory/costing operations comply with company procedures and policies, accounting standards and related regulations. (Ex. Bonded warehouse and the Revenue Department, etc.).
• Work with department heads to improve cost control and recommend actions to improve financial performance.
• Perform the tasks as requested by the supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Thai national, age between 30 – 40 years. 
• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in an Accounting/Finance or any related field.
• At least 4 years of experience working in a costing function, preferably within a manufacturing environment or a multinational company.
• Advanced user of Microsoft Excel , comfortable with Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.
• Fair command in English.
• Good interpersonal communication skills.
• Excellent analytical skills, must be able to independently analyze problems and provide solutions.
• Self-motivated, result oriented, proactive, fast learner, able to work well under pressure and be a team spirit.
