Our client is Thailand’s largest petroleum and petrochemical refineries for more than 50 years. We are also engaged in paraxylene, base lubricants, electricity, alternative energy and transportation businesses. Due to business expansion, we are looking for suitable candidates in the following position;
Position: Strategic Planning Manager
Job Type: Permanent
Location: Bangkok
Salary range: 70K-100K
Responsibilities
- Responsible for planning and directing an organization's strategic and long-range goals. Conducts organizational reviews to identify strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities and to evaluate operational effectiveness.
- Develop medium and long term business plan for TOP Group and wholly owned subsidiaries which reflect STS content (target initiative and action plan) to submit to board of directors for approval.
- Develop monitoring and reporting system for the progress and variable of STS initiatives/Business performance vs plan medium term and long term in order to ensure that the company will be able to achieve the successful of strategic target in short, medium and long term plan.
- Conducts analyses, as directed by program or executive staff, to identify program strengths and weaknesses, as well as areas for expansion
- Helps Company’s’ senior management team and program directors conduct long-range planning for the organization with an emphasis on funding, institutional ramifications, and program design
- Works with Information Services staff to ensure that program databases can reliably and effectively capture the data necessary for internal and external reporting;
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree, Master’s degree in a related field is preferred;
- 8 or more years of experience in the Strategic Planning position. In positions of increasing responsibility and demonstrated leadership in at least two of the following areas: program planning and development, grant writing/fundraising, or performance measurement and data management;
- Project management and/or supervisory experience;
- Team player, a creative problem-solver, and a skilled communicator essential.
- Experience with and ability to prioritize competing demands and to organize both projects and people is essential.
- Flexibility and a sense of humor may also be necessary.
