Salary range: 30K-37K (up to experience)
Main Duties:
The purpose of IT Support is responsible for the smooth and proper operations of all Information Technology systems at manufacturing facility by providing maintenance of the computer desktop environment according to requirements, resolving problems, installing hardware and software solutions, and supporting the internal IT Helpdesk; be responsible for administration and internal support of the Company’s PCs, printers, servers, and related equipment. Tasks include end user support, license tracking, and performing PC maintenance, upgrades and configurations.
Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day technical support to telephone and e-mail requests from users for all PC hardware, software and associated peripherals
- Troubleshooting for computing system/network operating problems
- Support calls and document their outcome to facilitate the resolution of common queries
- Installs, test and configure computer hardware, operating systems and applications in compliance with Corporate Standards
- Maintain the existing PCs and peripherals to Zodiac standards, by performing upgrades, new installations and carrying out routine procedures
- Performs hardware replacements as equipment becomes defective or obsolete
- Deploy PCs and associated peripherals including new installations and the redeployment of existing equipment
- Monitors and maintains the performance of computer systems, services and the network; notes trends and initiates action when necessary
- Ensuring all services contracts are in place and valid
- Maintain inventory of all equipment, software and software licenses
- Providing support to users, including procedural documentation and trainings
- Supporting the roll-out of new applications in cooperation with IS department
- Setting up new users' accounts and profiles and dealing with password issues
- Testing and evaluating new technologies
- Develops, documents and implements standards and procedures related to applications administration, such as general administration
- Model ethical behavior and execute job responsibilities in accordance with company values and ethics policies
- Follow the company procedures, work instructions, regulations and comply with environmental, health and safety requirements
- Ad-hoc tasks requested by management and perform any jobs as assigned by superior
Authorization:
- Report the error, problem things, ideas for improvement and cost control
- Stop or prohibit the work and report to the supervisor when there is any reason to suspect a problem or when safety is at stake
Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- At least 3 years of experience in IT and hold in the similar role
- Experience with ERP Infor, Lotus Note, Cisco telephony/video conferencing systems
- Good in English
