Our Client is a leading Thai power development company, engaging in the electricity generating business. Our client company is strongly committed towards social responsibility and environmental protection issues. Client Company has invested in many power projects in Thailand and they currently expanded their business to food industry (Restaurant). Position: VP-Internal Audit
Job Type: Permanent
Location: All season place, Wireless Road
Salary Range: 120,000 – 150,000 THB (Up to experience)

Responsibility
- Develops an annual audit plan using an appropriate risk-based methodology, including any risks or control concerns identified by Management, and submits that plan to the Executive Management of Gulf for review and approval as well as periodic updates.
- Plans and co-ordinates the scope of work with the external auditors, other internal assurance functions and regulators, as appropriate, for the purpose of providing optimal audit coverage to the organization at a reasonable overall cost.
- Implements the annual audit plan, as approved, including as appropriate and any special tasks or projects requested by the Executive Management
- Is responsible for:
o reviewing the adequacy and effectiveness of the organization's system of internal control and the quality of performance in carrying out assigned responsibilities;
o reviewing the reliability and integrity of financial and operating information and the means used to identify, measure, classify, and report such information;
o reviewing the systems established to ensure compliance with those policies, plans, procedures, laws, and regulations which could have a significant impact on
o operations and reports, and should determine whether the organization is in compliance;
o reviewing the means of safeguarding of assets and, as appropriate, verifying the existence of such assets, to protect them from losses of all kinds;
o reviewing projects and programs to ascertain whether results are consistent with established objectives and goals, and whether the projects or programs are being
o carried out as planned (e.g. new IT-systems, capital expenditures);
- Reports risk management issues and internal control deficiencies and provides recommendations for improving the organization's operations, in terms of both efficient and effective performance
- Reviews and monitors prior audit findings, and assists Management to ensure they have been properly addressed.
- Evaluates the organization's readiness in case of business interruption
- Provides support to the company’s fraud program
- Develops professional audit staff with sufficient knowledge, skills, and experiences.
Qualification
- Thai Nationality only
- Bachelor Degree or higher in Accounting or Auditing or other related field
- 8–10 years’ experience in Multinational company and SET
- Required Certificate: Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) and Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
- Proficiency in English skill in both writing and speaking
- Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
- Strong supervisory, coaching and project management skills
- Must display professionalism and confidence
- Excellent customer service skills
- Proven global expertise and perspective; executive level presence and influence
- Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management skills
- Excellent negotiation, influence, mediation and conflict management skills
- Excellent business acumen and industry acumen
