Salary range: Maximum 80,000 THB (Up to experience)

Job Summary
Responsible for providing technical support and advice Operations Department (onshore and offshore staff) and other related departments as needed to assure the safe and practical maintenance and repair of mechanical equipment, developing maintenance strategies and maintenance plans and programs for key mechanical items and reviewing the effectiveness of these. Setting up support contracts with vendors and suppliers for maintenance and repairs as needed.
Main Responsibilities
- Provide technical advice and guidance on mechanical problems to the staff on the offshore platforms and in the maintenance team in Thailand, related to design, selection, purchase, repair of mechanical equipment used offshore.
- Define and manage the planned maintenance programs for all mechanical equipment offshore including determining the work tasks required and the frequencies of such work. Such work to also include for reviews of maintenance plans and regimes to optimize the effectiveness of maintenance.
- Ensuring that all mechanical safety critical elements are identified and that safety critical equipment is function tested in accordance with the defined scheme of verification.
- Managing contractors to carry out engineering designs for modifications for engineering change requests and minor modifications work.
- Managing contractors to carry out offshore construction activities relating to mechanical work such as flow line hookups, piping repairs, major machinery repairs, modifications and general mechanical works.
- Arranging for contracts to be put in place for mechanical engineering support and work Identifying support contractors within Thailand and technically assessing capabilities and abilities to competently undertake engineering and construction work on behalf of company
- Defining and setting technical competency standards for mechanical staff offshore and for ensuring that such staff meet those required competency standards by a testing and verification and certification process.
- Planning and organizing campaign maintenance programs such as fabric maintenance and painting programs for the Platform and FSO
- Participating in the commissioning and checking and testing of mechanical equipment for modifications and minor projects.
- Ensuring that all mechanical spare parts are held for all maintenance work and that an appropriate level of spare parts is held as insurance break down spares.
- Recruitment of mechanical technicians for work offshore.
Qualifications:
- Male, age between 30-40 years old.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical plus with MBA or Master in Management will be advantage.
- 5+ years experiences working in Oil and Gas Industry
- Have specific experience in facility engineering, risk assessment and maintenance Management
- Managerial skill, strategic thinking, problem solving, decision making are required.
- Using general business software and capable for formulate business scenarios analysis.
- Having a good command of English.
