Position:                      Solution Architecture

Job Type:                     Permanent

Location:                     Bangkok

Salary range:              80,000 – 100,000 THB

 

Responsibility:-

• Serve as an expert in all aspects of solution architecture, design and development.
• Serve as a technology leader and should be able to set technology direction for the application teams.
• Responsible for overall solution architecture and systems design.
• Responsible for high level technical design documents including solution architecture documents and architecture blueprints for the applications.
• Responsible for evaluating competing technologies / designs and identifying alternatives for complex applications.
• Facilitate/lead/participate in identifying options for solutions and features.
• Responsible for defining the performance criteria for all the applications and make sure the solution & application architecture supports required scalability.
• Collaborate with the business to understand / influence business requirements.
• Identify and quantify the scope and impact of business changes on systems and applications.
• Demonstrate deep understanding of cross-functional / cross-domain requirements and impact by seeing the “Big Picture”
• Maintain knowledge of current & emerging technologies/trends/products related to architectural solutions.
• Work closely with LI Enterprise Architecture team to ensure solution architecture aligns with enterprise technology standards including solution patterns, application frameworks, Technology roadmap etc.,
• Understand and adhere to Architecture Governance processes.
• Mentor technical staff to provide guidance and motivation.

 

Qualification:-

• 10 – 12 years of experience in a large corporate IT environment
• 5+ years in experience in Architect or lead technical role
• Bachelor’s degree in MIS, Computer Science or related field with direct applicable experience.
• Experience in various Information Technologies (SOA, SOAP, WSDL, ETL, EDI, UML, OOA & OOD, REST, Data Warehouse, Mobile etc.) and how each fits within and/or complements the enterprise architecture
• Demonstrated technical knowledge in programming languages such as Java, C#, .Net, C, C++, or similar.
• Very strong verbal / writing communication skills in English.
• Ability to facilitate and lead solution design activities.
