Plant Controller

Our Client is an international company which producing Gum and Candy, Biscuits, and Beverages. In Thailand, They are the leader in Candy and Gum; with the number one share spot in both categories.

Position:                     Plant Controller

Nationality:                Thai Only

Salary range:             maximum 120K (up to experience)

Responsibilities:

Accounting

• Manage the closing process, including reviewing the Standard Cost and International Billing Rate (IBR), review journal entries, FI-COPA reconciliation, cost variance allocation and passback
• Track variance passback balance by country to ensure zero balance by year-end
• Ensure B/S accounts are monitored and have proper balances

Internal Control

• Perform control activities as required by SOX
• Review inventory discrepancy report, ensure validity and identify any risks
• Review practice of existing policies in ladkrabang

Controllership

• Prepare the monthly report, draw conclusions and recommendations for the management team to achieve the annual cost/productivity target
• Coordinates the IBR planning process, review the run-rate assumptions and the assumptions of material price, yield loss, Direct variable labour (DVL), Direct variable expense (DVE), and Fixed manufacturing expense (FME) costs to minimize variance vs. Standard Cost
• Liaise with Project Finance Analyst in preparing the Cash Flow Analysis and validation of assumptions for the approval of the CAPEX projects
• Timely inform the customers on the passback variance balance and YTG opportunities/risks to the IBRs issued

Manage and develop direct reports & others

• Determine the MAP goals of direct reports
• Ensure proper development plan and actions for all direct reports and business partners
• Coach direct reports through formal (MAP reviews) and informal one-on-one sessions
• Maintain Trade Practices Act and other relevant legislative rules/regulations and governance & compliance related

Qualification:

• Bachelor degree or Master degree in Business Administration, Finances or equivalent
• Minimum 7 years of various Finance experience, preferable in financial planning & analysis / cost or      management accounting
• Demonstrated strong results in analysis, accounting, internal controls, business propositions, project management and cross functional team leadership
• Process interpersonal skills to interact with Senior Management level and able to work with cross functional teams.
• Good analytical & problem solving skill and be able to work under pressure & time constraint
• Ability to influence decisions to deliver business objectives.
• Excellent communication and presentation kills.
• Good command in English both speaking and writing
• Good knowledge in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint is a MUST.
• Experience in SAP and Certified Public Accountant would be advantage
