Our Client is a leading Thai power development company, engaging in the electricity generating business. Client Company has invested in many power projects in Thailand and they currently expanded their business to food industry (Restaurant). Due to their rapid development they are looking for both high caliber new talents and seasoned professionals to join their well established and talented work force in the following position:

 

Position:                     Project Engineer (Mechanical)

Job Type:                    Permanent

Location:                     All season place, Wireless Road

Salary Range:             100K (Up to experience)

Responsibilities:

1. Handle mechanical discipline in engineering team of 12SPPs projects

• Review engineering design of 12SPPs projects which are under execution phase; mechanical system design, evaluate and select mechanical system and equipment in power plant
• Be a part of the project management team of 12SPPs projects under execution

2. Lead the development and execution of biomass projects in four southern border provinces

• Account for project development and execution, in view of technical, Environmental Impact Assessment, permitting
• Support in project financial feasibility, and project financing

3. Business development

• Be a part of working team for new business development

 

Qualifications:

• Bachelor degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or related fields
  • Minimum 5 years working experience, with:
    Minimum 2 years in engineering consulting firm in power plant field, petroleum field, or petrochemical field; or
  • Minimum 3 years in engineering department in a development company in power plant, petroleum, or petrochemical field; or
  • Minimum 2 years in maintenance department in power plant, petroleum field, or petrochemical field and
  • Minimum 3 years involvement in project development and execution and/or project management
• Familiar with ASME, ASTM, NFPA, AWS, AWWA Standards
• Able to travel to and/or work in four southern border provinces during project development and execution
• Familiarity with project financing, Environmental Impact Assessment, permitting processes is a plus
• Experience in biomass power plant project is a plus
• Knowledge of financial feasibility evaluation is a plus
