Our client is the company that provide express deliveries worldwide service, freight forwarding with planes, trucks, ships and trains, warehousing services that go beyond just storage, but include everything from packaging to repairs, international mail deliveries, customized and specialized shipping They are currently seeking an enthusiastic and experience professional to join our company in the following position:
Position: FLEET MANAGER

Salary Range: Maximum 150,000THB(Up to Experience)
Responsibilities:
- To oversee the daily operational performance, maintenance and legal compliance of Company Fleet.
- Lead the Fleet procurement and design strategy with key customer accounts.
- Leading the responsible contract management of key maintenance and fleet providers to develop oncoming improvements in cost and innovation.
- Establishes and implements transport fleet business strategies with direct impact on the objectives and on business results within the scope of responsibility.
- Makes business and managerial decisions and recommendations in order to achieve: business and financial results; prevent loss of partnership; and eliminate the risk of substantial expenditures of time, human resources and/or funds.
- Is accountable to his/her direct superior for the delivery of strategic business results.
- Provides support and coordination to peers on implementing company fleet policies, programs, and initiatives.
- Develops and maintains partnerships and relations with the customers and suppliers to develop innovative solutions.
- Contacts the customers frequently in order to understand and fulfill their needs
- Provides leadership support to his/her management teams
- Plans, directs and coordinates transport operations activities within the area of responsibility
- Works closely with customers and directs superiors in budget planning
- Oversees all customer accounts – within the scope of responsibility - to ensure that his/her management teams provide smooth transport operations and stay within the budget
- Identifies where the services to customers should be improved, then develops and implements initiatives and processes for fleet management within the area of responsibility
- Identifies and analyzes data within the area of responsibility and develops solutions to enhance fleet operations
- Ensures that there are means for monitoring and evaluating operations and cost effectiveness.
- Ensures that appropriate and integrated management information is made available
- Accounts for the effective use of resources, ensuring that the area of responsibility keeps within approved financial policies
- Ensures that, within the area of responsibility, there is a level of compliance with prevailing legal and statutory requirements
- Produces a management structure within the area of responsibility, which clearly outlines responsibilities and accountabilities
- Participates, allows, and supports staff to participate in safety committees as required.
- Ensures that advice and training are provided to employees carrying out potentially hazardous work practices
- Ensures that the employees comply with the rules, regulations, instructions, orders or measures relating to work safety.
- Checks the performance of the place of operations according to the work plan, project, or measures on work safety.
- Complies with company OHS policy and procedures.
- Oversees overall people processes within the scope of responsibility to ensure compliance with Human Resource policies
- Estimates staffing needs and schedules and assigns work to subordinates
- Coordinates with the HR Department in the recruitment and selection process of managerial positions
- Develops and evaluates performance targets and goals
- Provides leadership and motivation to all staff within the scope of responsibility
- Identifies and supports subordinates in training and development needs
- Promotes career development
- Ensures the promotion of discipline amongst employees within the scope of responsibility
- Manages underperformance of subordinates
Qualification:
- Minimum 10 – 15 years’ experience in transport and/or logistics management
- Background in Fleet Management
- Bachelor’s degree in any field
- Skills in Leadership, Strategic thinking, Cross-cultural management skills, Communication and presentation skills
- Understanding of logistics business, Fleet Management and Budget Ownership
- Competencies in Driving high performance, developing others and developing self
- Good in English language and computer literacy
