Responsibilities:
Primary communication channel between Market Leaders and their respective teams and the IT organization with direct reporting line to the Regional IT Business Partner (ITBP) and IT Functions) with reporting relationship to the respective Divisions or Market leads. One point of contact for the Market/Division in IT tactical tasks is managed by this role; strategic tasks are communicated to and managed by the Regional ITBP (such as new systems, new sites, etc.). Participate in the Market Leads staff meetings for an awareness standpoint and pass pertinent info to the ITBP and IT Leads.
Main areas include the following:
- Support Regional ITBP on their Roles and Responsibilities at the Market level. (Tactical) Provide input into the annual budget; provide support to the Regional ITBP in managing and forecasting the budgets.
- Maintain market business leadership alignment with Global IT standards, Global IT processes and IT Functions organizations and therefore preventing new Market specific solutions from being developed. Works with the Regional ITBP on solutions roadmaps to transition from local to global standard solutions. Ensures alignment between Business IT and Enterprise Excellence portfolios.
- Accountable and/or responsible (where applicable) for project delivery by monitoring project’s end-to-end deliverables and providing regular feedback to business stakeholders.
- Support IT Functions on the process to recommend, contract and manage external IT resources, when necessary and applicable, to support or complement global deployments projects at a local/market level.
- Monitoring Local/Market user satisfaction
- Communicate Business's concerns and issues raised by leadership and escalate to ITBP and IT Functions.
- Fill the role as a project manager for market specific initiatives.
- Responsible for taking ownership over understanding the local systems, their support models, and service and delivery needs until such time all local/market specific systems transition to global solutions. Working closely with the Applications team to ensure the needs are met.
- The Business IT coordinator will run quarterly in-market operations reviews to: Provide the local lead team with a heads up on key upcoming IT initiatives, discuss progress vs. initiatives/objectives, review service performance / KPIs, collect customer feedback and share with region BITL in a structured manner.
- BITL is a formal “Voice of Customer” role to feed into the IT strategy build up. Specifically:
- Understanding IT Global owns strategy definition and defines the strategy based on global business strategies AND insights provided by the Market IT coordinator and local delivery teams.
- The market IT coordinator is the person channeling this information to IT Global, through the regional ITBP.
- The role is only consultative, not strategy setting.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor or Master Degree in Business Administration, Information Technology or related field.
- At least 10 years’ of Management experience in Business or IT.
- Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and to adapt to changing priorities.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills.
- Good command of English.
- Ability to work independently and work as a team.
- Strong problem solving skills with the ability to understand others.
- Analytical ability to effectively identify and resolve problems independently.
