Responsibilities:
- Creates, manages the process of new menu development and ensures that new products/concepts are designed and launched timely and will be the well performing products and have an acceptable impact on people, QSC, profit, and other related systems, e.g., safety, equipment maintenance.
- Tracks and analyzes the existing products/menus operated in restaurants to ensure they all are still performing ones.
- Provides input on the operational feasibility of assigned new product concepts/prototypes and operational platforms under consideration.
- Participates with and/or team to ensure priorities are aligned and resourced across functions (Operations, Marketing, and Supply Chain).
- Coordinates with Restaurant Systems to ensure that all tools are available for the launch of new products/concepts, e.g., equipment, manuals, training materials, etc.
- Collaborates with other groups to identify opportunities and/or barriers related to menu development. Provides testing as necessary to develop solutions.
- Provides the professional insight and inputs on managing the non-performing products/menus for management consideration.
- Continually evaluates the effectiveness of the testing and menu development process and directs the improvement of processes as needed.
- Analyzes research result and applies to menu development.
- Provides ongoing coaching, training and development of the Menu Management team.
- Creates an environment that supports high-performing teams across Menu Management and Marketing.
- May lead and/or facilitate special projects for the department, e.g., department teams, process improvements, recognition.
- Ensures that staff fully understand and can articulate the business case for new products/concepts.
- Schedules, directs, and coordinates divisional knowledge transfers.
- Acts as liaison to divisional food leaders to promote communication exchange throughout the development process.
Qualifications:
- Male & Female with age over 25 years (Thai Nationality only)
- Bachelor degree of in Food Science/Food Technology or related field
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in the Food & Beverage Industry
- Past experience in creating menu and Menu development
- Be able to communicate in English
- Good computer literacy
- Strong analytical skill and negotiation skills, target-oriented as well as customer service oriented, hardworking and mature
- Good communication skills with good personality.
- Be able to work under pressure
- Initiative, innovation, strategic thinking with can do attitude and sense of urgency
