Position: Operation Manager
Location: Bangkok
Industry type: Insurance
Salary Range: 80,000 – 100,000 THB
Responsibilities;
- Counsel/support Team Leaders on day to day business activities and align on priorities
- Hold regular (at least quarterly) team meetings to communicate updates, results and priorities
- Develop and maintain all procedures related documentation (SOP, guidelines, process flow, etc.)
- Identify process improvement opportunities and provide feedback to the sending BUs proactively
- Make sure all employees have the workstation, IT hardware and accesses ready on a timely manner
- Escalate and report all IT related issues to the relevant service desk
- Develop and maintain job descriptions for all employees outlining their role and responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a succession plan to prepare the internal promotions and avoid dependencies
- Plan for and provide opportunities for employee advancement and development
- Provide documented and signed annual targets to all employees
- Ensure the achievement of quality and productivity targets set by the sending BUs
- Design and maintain monthly financial incentive programs where applicable
- Administer a quarterly and yearly performance review for all employees
- Identify areas of improvements and build action plans proactively
- Support clients in ramping up new capabilities and transferring the knowledge
- Meet with clients at least once a year in Thailand and/or client country
- Handle client requests promptly and courteously
Qualifications;
- 5 years of professional experience preferably in the Insurance industry or Operations management
- Previous successful experience in a Leadership position
- Intermediate MS Office skills
- Excellent interpersonal/communication skills, ability to build/maintain rapport with key stakeholders
- Strong self-control with ability to create a pleasant working environment
- Naturally motivated, self-driven, positive and accountable for business outcomes
- Understand/respect other people’s point of view, passionate about coaching the team
