Position: DIRECTOR OF RESEARCH BUSINESS UNIT
Location: Bangrak, Bangkok

Salary Range: 150K – 200K THB/ month
Subordinates: 40 people in the business unit
The Director, Consumer Experiences is accountable and will report directly to the Managing Director. The work scope covers company business development, overall management of research services projects, development and execution of superior research projects, and account profitability.
Specific Responsibilities : Management
- Assists the MD in overall research operations management of the company with highest effectiveness.
- Identify market and research opportunities to company/Business strategy and development for company targeted growth
- Develops and maintains close relationship and communication with client/CRM
- Manage, develop and grow a team of researchers and other staff as well as provide strategic leadership on all work in team especially before presentation to Managing Director and to client, develop relevant conclusions, recommendations and provide client consultancy
- Oversee fieldwork operations
- Advise Managing Director of client and research staff status, morale, productivity, efficiency of team, problems and opportunities within team
- Develop or approve performance evaluation of direct reporting staff and recommend training opportunities for direct reporting staff to Managing Director
- Present Company Orientation and represent company to clients
- Other special assignments from Managing Director/Director
Specific Responsibilities : Research and Project Management
- Manage the research department and handle these aspects of the project.
- Receive client brief
- Develop proposal and prepare budget/cost
- Implement proposal
- Brief field staff
- Analyzing data and information
- Present and report on work from proposal to reporting stage
- Analyze and evaluate results
- Control costs/budgeting
- Act as main link resource to key clients. Develops and maintains close
- relationship and communication with decision makers of client/planning and implementing of client acquisition and retention strategies
- Conduct in-depth interviews and focus group discussion
- Development of conclusion and recommendation for client studies
- Prepare Research team budgets and reports as required
Requirement
- Bachelor’s Degree, Master Degree or Ph.D. in related field – ideally majoring in Communications, Marketing or Marketing Research, Cultural Studies or Psychology
- High Consultancy Skill, Strategic mindset and high managerial skills
- The successful applicant shall be an effective and mature communicator with a “can-do” attitude.
- At least 6 years relevant qualitative research experiences direct involvement in business development, analysis and presentation of insights with a well-reputed boutique or global agency.
- Group Moderation skills are a must.
- Demonstrating strategic advice and partnering with clients. Proven performance track record (ie. Client’s partnership] in a rapidly growing organization
- Some people management experience through direct line report responsibilities
- Demonstrable ability to set priorities and multi-task. Ability to effectively manage multiple assignments
- Capability to function in a cross-cultural environment
- Strong level of communication (written, verbal and presentation) skills. English literacy
- Ability to work independently and can travel in up country and oversea
